Jerry Gates, Sr. was born in Medina but has resided in Lorain County most of his life. Jerry was saved as young child and rededicated his life to God in 1967. Jerry and his wife Cindy celebrated 57 years of marriage just before her passing. They have five children, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jerry was first licensed in 2001and completed the Certificate of Ministry program through Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2006 and was ordained in 2008. He serves as an Associate Pastor assisting in teaching, preaching and administration. He is also active in a Christ centered recovery program and Prison Ministry.
